From our Barcelona office, we are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative for the German-speaking market, to join a leading biotechnology company based in Barcelona.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role as the interface between customers, logistics, manufacturing, and sales or service representatives, ensuring high-quality service and contributing to Agilent's excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer (internal and external) inquiries and service requests, such as end-to-end order status management, repair/calibration requests, product changes, or returns.
Handle activities related to product/service order fulfillment, including invoicing requirements and contract administration.
Book orders, prepare quotes, and, in some cases, upsell or cross-sell products.
Collaborate closely with logistics and manufacturing teams to coordinate product deliveries and monitor inventories.
Resolve issues by applying established policies, procedures, and tactics.
Ensure effective and fluent communication with customers from the German-speaking market.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented individual with strong time management skills. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle multiple tasks related to order administration and customer service are essential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Native-level German (mandatory).
Fluent English (mandatory).
Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
Higher education or specialized training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience of 1 to 3 years in similar roles (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
What do we offer?
Immediate start through a temporary agency contract (ETT).
Contract duration: 12 months.
Annual gross salary: €27,000.
Full-time position: 40 hours/week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (flexible hours available).
Hybrid model: 2 remote days (Monday and Friday), 3 onsite days (Tuesday to Thursday).
Workplace: World Trade Center, South Building, Moll de Barcelona, 08039.
